We, the staff of the Protestant-Lutheran Pastoral Care Center for deaf Persons, make great efforts to be close to each individual person and to offer communication, but also very qualified advising. Upon demand, we would like to assist you and to give you time and way for strictly confidential communication.
Our staff members, of course, are competent in the sign language on the basic of additionally specified trainings continously performed. We like to take time for pastoral communication with obliging confidentiality.
We do offer advising to deaf and hard-hearing persons as well as to well-hearing family members in all life-/marriage- and family affairs.
The Mother-Child Advice Unit will take up discussions concerning the upbringing and guidance of children.
The Social Advice Unit will take care of completing and handling application forms, will give assistance in searching flats, in affairs with lawyers and authorities.
The Youth Advice Unit will give young people the possibility to talk to staff members they will feel close to.
The AIDS Advice Unit will take care of both, deaf persons being HIV positive and persons being infected with AIDS.
The Communication Advice Unit concentrates their view on the communicative attitude and its affects to itself and to others, it analyzes and improves.
